March 8, 2018 – For Women’s day, the Institute for Public Relations has published an article by Ángeles Moreno and Ralph Tench on the gender research from the European Communication Monitor and the Latin American Communication Monitor.

“During our twelve years of studying the annual status of the profession through the European Communication Monitor and the Latin American Communication Monitor, we have also painted a picture of the gender issues in public relations and communication management practice”, said the authors. The article gives an overview on:

  • the feminization of the profession
  • the gender division regarding salaries
  • the gap between work and life
  • the changes in gender stereotypes
